Nutrition
Nutrition is one of the most fundamental aspects of your health and fitness. You really can’t out train a bad diet. While certain supplements have their place REAL FOOD is the best thing you can give your body; the strong foundation upon which everything rests. The science comes down to working out the exact number of calories you need and the correct macronutrient split of protein, carbohydrates and fats to achieve your goals.
The first step is to work out your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) which is determined based on questions you are asked when you join my programme. I use a formula that I believe to be the most accurate way of working out your requirements.
Once your TDEE is calculated, I then build a meal plan where your calories are in either a calorie deficit (-cals below TDEE) or a calorie surplus (+cals above TDEE). This depends on your goals, whether you want to bulk up and gain muscle or cut down and lose body fat.
I will take into account any allergies you may have and foods you simply don't like, that way you have a plan you can stick to, enjoy eating and get the results you're after.
I’m no Michelin starred chef but I can, if required, also give you some easy, healthy recipes for meals to meet your macros. As a massive foodie myself, food is a huge factor for me in my lifestyle.
Remember nutrition doesn’t have to just be boring and bland chicken and rice everyday, there’s so many ways to make nutrient dense healthy food taste incredible - let me show you!
