My fitness journey started in my late teens, just as I was starting university. I had always been a skinny, quiet kid and lacking in confidence but discovering my love for exercise, health and fitness changed all that for me. I quickly fell in love with the process of self improvement, the feeling of forward momentum after every workout and the growing confidence it gave me when I saw the changes my hard work brought.

I realised then that this was my passion. I re-evaluated my life, decided to quit the law degree that I was enrolled in and dedicated myself to learning everything there was to know about how to train the human body to an exceptional degree. The process of transforming my body taught me a lot, above all else that we have the ability to push ourselves to incredible levels if have the right attitude, clear goals, and the drive to succeed.

The feeling training in the gym gives me is unlike any other. I feel it is the best medicine not only physically but also mentally and want to share that with others. In today’s fast pace world it’s very easy to become stressed, anxious or even depressed. Mental and physical health are intrinsically linked, however, and if you aren’t exercising, eating nutritious food, getting outdoors, surrounding yourself with positivity and support you aren’t giving yourself a fighting chance.

Having the ability to help people feel amazing is what drives my love and passion for personal training. Without sounding clichéd a lot of what is taught in the gym ie. hard work, determination and consistency ensure results can be applied to areas out with the gym and lead to success in many areas of life.

There are countless PT’s and online programmes out there promising 'quick-fixes' and 'overnight miracles'. Yes, you might lose weight fast but these methods are NOT healthy or sustainable. My approach is different. You’ll get REAL RESULTS and create lifelong change with a sustainable and realistic plan.

In many ways I feel like the best evidence for my knowledge and experience is my own fitness journey over the last ten years. Over that time, I have gained 45kg of muscle, increased my fitness, strengthened my mindset and found new purpose in training and enjoying the gym. Alongside this I have developed extensive experience in personal training and online coaching. I’ve also met some amazing people whose passion and drive inspired me to push myself even harder. That aspect of support, teamwork and community is something I make sure runs through all my work as a PT.

The gym changed my life. Now, I want it to change YOURS too.
